Very Special Daily Specials to go

Chef Chadwick creates a unique & affordable culinary experience with daily specials for Foodies who continue to crave restaurant-quality food at home with the same diversity of flavors that had become mainstream before the pandemic. 

 

2020 has been a year of change for both consumers and restaurants.  While the pandemic appears to have been the stimulus for enormous shifts in consumer tastes, in fact, many of the food trends that surfaced this year were already on the horizon long before COVID 19.  Emerging culinary fads such as plant-based menus, sustainability, or the popularity of chef made meals to go were merely fast tracked by the arrival of COVID 19.

 

Over the last few years Americans have become accustomed to ‘dining out’ several times a week which led to a new level of culinary sophistication paired with a global appreciation for a diversity of flavors.  Chef Chadwick at Inn by the Sea makes consumer demand for that world of flavors easily available fall through spring with very well-priced, unique nightly specials that may be enjoyed in Sea Glass or packaged to go. 

 

On top of the seasonal menu served in Sea Glass & the Rockwell Room, locals may pick up the full meal special of the day, all priced at $12.99 per person from noon to 7 PM, 7 days a week.  Delivery is now available through CarHop.  Be sure to add beer, wine or cocktails to your order! (tax and gratuity is not included)

 

Monday

Start the week off right with Sweet and Sour Crispy Eggplant with 48 hour marinated and grilled Korean BBQ chicken thigh, Kimchi and Lemongrass rice.  For dessert, enjoy freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

 

Taco Tuesdays 

Start your Mexican inspired Tuesday with Tortilla soup with chipotle sour cream and crispy tortilla bits. The Taco's flour tortilla is stuffed with slow roasted and braised chicken with cumin and ancho chile, cabbage slaw, shaved lettuce, diced tomato, salsa verde, sauce rojo. Calm your sweet tooth with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. 

 

Wednesday Chef’s Classic Chicken Parmigiana

Chef Chadwick’s popular Chicken Parmigiana is back for a delicious and satisfying mid-week to go special. Start with Minestrone soup with tomato, kidney beans, roasted vegetables & orzo. Chicken is couched in penne pasta in the Chef’s house made marinara with fresh herbs and olive oil. Top it off with freshly baked chocolate cookies.



Thursday Burger and Beer

What could be more American, or better on a Thursday evening than a delicious beef burger paired with some great local beer. Every week the Chef creates a classic burger with regionally sourced meat, a fresh squishy bun, and an amazing combination of toppings and cheese.  Start with a Chop salad with parmesan dressing, tomato, onion, iceberg lettuce and house croutons. The Classic Burger is made with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion secret sauce and a sesame seed bun and served with pickles & chips. Freshly baked chocolate cookies for dessert. 

 

Friday is BBQ 

It may be winter in the north but on Friday’s Chef is offering a touch of southern warmth. Start the evening with the Chef’s black bean soup and cornbread. Then enjoy a half rack (per person) of slow roasted BBQ ribs with house pickles, house slaw and horseradish potato salad. Finish off your meal with freshly baked chocolate cookies. 

 

Saturday Chicken Piccata

Another Sea Glass favorite. Start with house made Focaccia Bread with blackberries & rosemary roasted garlic butter. The Chicken Piccata is served with crispy potatoes with thyme and shallot with roasted root vegetables. Dessert is freshly baked chocolate cookies. 

 

Sunday Baked Three Cheese Ziti 

Start with a salad of baby lettuce with cucumbers, roasted peppers, tomatoes and shaved onions with Italian herb vinaigrette. The Chef’s baked three cheese ziti is made with house marinara, herbed ricotta and mozzarella, parmesan, basil crumbs and olive oil. Freshly baked chocolate cookies end the meal with a sweet!


Chef Andrew Chadwick is executive Chef at Sea Glass, the ocean view restaurant at Inn by the Sea, located at 40 Bowery Beach Road, at Crescent Beach in Cape Elizabeth.
