Healthy Snacking with the Inn’s Pastry Chef Karen Voter

Trying to get your kids to eat better?  Every Monday afternoon, the Inn’s master baker and pastry chef Karen Voter will whet hungry appetites with a mouth-watering demo on Healthy Snacking demo (with tastes of course) featuring her popular kid-tested recipes. Little sticky fingers will be so satiated they won’t even notice what’s good for them.

Weekly Al Fresco Garden Dinners, Served Farm-Table StyleThe Inn is launching a new pre-fixe Garden Dinner series this summer taking place on Wednesday evenings in July and August. Served farm table-style style on the Inn’s outdoor patio, surrounded by the indigenous seacoast gardens and overlooking Casco Bay, the menu will feature the bounty of all things Maine.  Chef Mitchell Kaldrovich will render fresh summer dishes based on the abundance of local organic fare from the farms that surround the Inn, as well as the fresh fish brought in daily from the Gulf of Maine waters right off shore.

A Bug’s Life

Kids don insect costumes and then venture out to see and learn about eco systems from a bug’s viewpoint in the midst of the Inn’s five acres of Wildlife Habitat and Butterfly Gardens every Tuesday morning.

Children’s Story Hour

Songs and storytelling on the lounge deck, every Wednesday morning.

Free-Form Art Class

Each Thursday afternoon, outdoor painting classes and the scenic Maine coast setting will help young artists tap the Andrew Hopper lurking inside their artistic imaginations.

Children’s Yoga on the Lawn

Kids and others of all ages are welcome to stretch, strengthen and get centered, every Friday morning.
