All posted positions require following the essential functions of the job to include but not limited to:

• Ability to work flexible schedules (including weekends, nights, holidays) to meet hotel/guest needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests; (i.e. use appropriate language, display proper tone, attitude and body language when communicating.)
• Ability to understand and follow instructions as directed by supervisor/manager
• Reporting to work on time and ready to begin your shift (being tardy places an unfair burden on the team)


Open Positions:


  • Washes dishes and then stacks and stores china in appropriate kitchen areas.
  • Washes pots and pans properly (i.e., pre-soaks, wash with proper detergent, and rinse in sanitizing solution or 180 degrees rinse water)
  • Performs general housekeeping in the kitchen including floors, i.e. sweep & mop, scrubbing heavily soiled areas.  (Takes initiative to do extra cleaning when time permits).
  • May assist in food preparation, chopping vegetables, making salads, soups, etc.

Laundry Attendant

  • Separates items according to type- i.e.: towels, sheets, blankets, etc.
  • Washes items according to methods prescribed by equipment and cleaning chemicals
  • Dries all items using the proper heat setting
  • Promptly, fold, stack, and store all items laundered to minimize wrinkling
  • May be asked to assist in other areas of the hotel to ensure guest satisfaction


  • Suggestively sells food and beverages by describing each item in an appealing way (check ID for appropriate age)
  • Ring in orders on POS (Point of sales) quickly, in proper sequence and use appropriate charges
  • Assure needs of guests are continually being met in a courteous and professional manner throughout the duration of their visit
  • Prepare drinks for servers and guests in accordance with company procedure
  • Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing and handling intoxicated guests
  • Perform duties that include stocking bar, cleaning glasses, filling ice bins, cleaning and other duties as required
  • Operate POS (Point of Sales) system, make change correctly, and make charge transactions accurately
  • Reconcile and balance all sales transactions at the end of each shift
  • Pass all required job-related tests

Banquet Server

  • Working knowledge of hotel layout and storage areas for the Food & Beverage Department
  • Set meal preps for specified function (i.e. breakfast buffet, lunch buffet/plated, or dinner buffet/plated)
  • Read and comprehend BEO information
  • Meet & greet guests
  • Serve meals for specified function following timelines for event
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times (clean as you go)
  • Clear tables, for specified functions, down to the bare table and reset for following day
  • Empty trash, clean any used trays, ensure all items used go back to there proper locations

AM/PM Restaurant Server

  • Greets guest at assigned table and ensures each guest has a dining room menu. When the guest is ready, obtains the meal order and gives to kitchen staff for preparation.  Serves the food once prepared and make sure guests have everything they need, then moves on to another party
  • Offers, sells and obtains cocktail orders from guests
  • Returns to assigned table periodically to see if additional items are desired. When guests have completed their meal, a dessert is suggested.  After completion of the meal or dessert the check is delivered
  • Removes dirty dishes and silverware, placing them in respective trays
  • Prepares tables for service by wiping them clean, setting clean linen, glassware, and silverware in the proper places, and placing condiments in an attractive fashion. May concentrate all his/her efforts on service during rush periods
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of menu, menu prices, composition of food and beverage menu items. Uses up-selling to increase check average
  • Requires familiarity with all daily specials and with proper plating procedures
  • Refills all condiments and waiter/waitress station supplies at the end of each shift
  • Maintain food and beverage control (i.e. pre-check machine, portion control liquor control)
  • Attends regular staff and training meetings
  • Performs opening & closing work as requested

Room Service/Busser

  • Supplies dining room and individual tables with clean china, glassware, utensils, condiments and paper supplies as needed
  • Assists dining room servers with keeping guests supplied with beverages. May also assist servers in carrying orders to tables
  • Removes dirty dishes, soiled linen, glassware and silver from the table and carries items to the dishwasher
  • Resets tables
  • Properly sorts dirty items in appropriate areas to facilitate an organized dishwashing station
  • Fills condiment containers
  • Completes side work as assigned by management
  • Wipes chairs and booths. Picks up debris from carpet or floor
  • Prepares and delivers room service or take-out orders as requested
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Room Attendant

  • Safely & efficiently cleans guest rooms (including bedrooms, bathroom, living area, & kitchen) to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
  •  Completes all work in a timely manner and meets productivity & cleanliness standards.
  •  Use information on reports to effectively service guestrooms, deliver any requested items, & provide superior guest service.
  • Ability to work well with others, communicate effectively, display a positive attitude,  have attention to detail, ability to learn, & be self motivated.

House Attendant

  • Delivers clean linens to Room Attendants; delivers supplies to Room Attendants as requested i.e. bedspread, pillow, blankets, etc
  • Picks up soiled linens from Room Attendant carts and transports to laundry department for cleaning
  • Removes trash from Room Attendant carts and transports to dumpster
  • Cleans, organizes and restocks guest supplies in all storage rooms to ensure adequate amounts are available and stored neatly to reduce damage and waste of products


  • Edges mulch bed located throughout property as needed
  • Weed removal from all planting areas
  • Prunes or removes dead branches or plant material that has expired
  • Cleans garbage from parking lot
  • Sweeps all cobwebs from stairwells and removes bird next from fire alarms and overhead railings

Maintenance Associate

  • Completes routine equipment checks and performs preventative maintenance on hotel machinery
  • Maintains knowledge of hotel fire alarm and sprinkler systems
  • Responds to guest maintenance requests in a prompt and courteous manner
  • General repair of plumbing, PTAC units, room furniture, bathroom fixtures and tile, painting, wall vinyl, electronic locks, television and carpentry
  • Adhere to the Inn’s service culture through all phases of the guest stay

Spa Concierge

  • Responsible for selling and coordinating reservations of Spa services and retail and providing gracious guest reception and handling. Responsible for greeting all guests that come to the Spa. Responsible for checking guests in and out of the spa, scheduling appointments, selling of retail, answering any guest questions or requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide therapists/technicians with an accurate daily schedule throughout shift
  • Ensure that therapists/technicians are notified and/or advised of arrival of all guests
  • Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Keep bank secure at all times
  • Access all functions of computer system in accordance with department specifications.

Turn-down Attendant

  • The Turndown Attendant is responsible for cleanliness of lobby and spa
  • Performs nightly turndown to all guest rooms
  • Willing and able to clean guest rooms when guests ask for evening service
  • Must be comfortable using a radio to communicate to additional departments

Public Space Attendant

  • Ability to work well with others, communicate effectively, display a positive attitude,  have attention to detail, ability to learn, & be self motivated.
  • Cleans, organizes and restocks guest supplies in all storage rooms to ensure adequate amounts are available.
  • Thoroughly cleans lobby, bathrooms, hallways, elevators, stairways, etc. and posts safety signage i.e. wet floor signs.

Massage Therapist – Licensed

  • Primary responsibility is to provide professional massages with a variety of techniques such as: Swedish, aromatherapy, sports massage, reflexology, deep tissue, stone massage, etc.  To perform spa body treatments such as:  scrubs, wraps, couple’s treatments, bath preparation and to provide guest in room service.
  • Complete the Spa at Inn by the Sea  protocols and treatments certification process successfully
  • Set-up treatment rooms at the beginning of each shift with all needed supplies and equipment. Perform daily routine of  set up and break down of massage rooms
  • Maintain the Therapists and Technicians Code of Conduct
  • Assist in the locker and/or waiting area, reception and reservations and laundry room as needed
